David Kunz has been lobbying in the Minnesota Legislature
for sixteen years. He has served as CEO and Executive
Director for the Minnesota Optometric Association, The
North Central Optometric Association, and The Minnesota
Chiropractic Association. Currently he serves as lobbyist
and Director of Government Relations for the Minnesota
Chiropractic Association, Northwestern Health Sciences
University. Additionally David lobby's for Minnesota
Academy of Ophthalmology and provides contract lobbying
for a large twin city law firm.
David has built grassroots lobbying programs for his
clients and has had numerous successes on a wide range
of issues. He has built strong coalitions of industry
leaders and has built a reputable image at the capitol
for those he represents. Personal contacts and individual
attention to members and legislative leaders on both
sides of the isle is his forte. He is a tireless advocate
for his clients.
David has over 30years of government lobbying activity.
Prior to coming to Minnesota, he was President of DNK
Management, Inc. a Nebraska Company specializing in
full association management services. He served as CEO
and Executive Director for the Nebraska State Association
of Life Underwriters, The Nebraska Optometric Association,
and The Nebraska Lodging Association. Additionally he
has lobbied for the Nebraska Veterinary Medical Association,
The Nebraska Funeral Directors Association, The Nebraska
Dental Hygienists Association, The Nebraska Cheese Mfg.
Association, and Flex-O-Lite Corporation.
David maintains a daily presence at the capitol. He
is experienced in developing, coordinating, and advancing
legislative agenda's for his clients. He maintains a
large network of contacts at the legislature and within
government agencies.
