Conflicts Of Interest
Conflicts of interest are of two kinds: those, which are direct
and explicit, and those, which are subtler. The more subtle
are in the nature of competing for priority. We do not take
so many clients that legislators may directly or indirectly
try to make us choose which client we may favor when setting
priorities or reaching closure on legislation.
